Beautiful oil paint set with 12 vibrant colours for all your artistic projects. The opaque paint blends beautifully and, thanks to the aluminium tubes, will give you long-lasting enjoyment.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
Oil paint is ideal for creating artworks with rich, deep colours and a long working time. This Marabu oil paint set gives you the opportunity to paint with a medium that dries slowly, so you have all the time you need to mix colours and work out details. You choose oil paint when you want to create realistic portraits, landscapes or other artworks where colour gradation and texture are important.
Why a set of 12 colours?
This set contains a carefully selected range of 12 basic colours, from titanium white and lemon yellow to Prussian blue and black. With this colour combination you can mix almost any shade you need, as the paints are mixable with one another. The 12 ml tubes provide enough paint for several paintings without having to buy large quantities straight away.
Opacity and light quality
The paints are opaque, which means you can apply colours over one another well without underlying layers showing through. The high tinting strength and colour brilliance keep your paintings vibrant, while the lightfastness ensures the colours do not fade quickly from exposure to light.
Practical tips for use
You can thin the paints with turpentine or oil to achieve different effects, from transparent glazes to smooth transitions. The aluminium tubes keep the paint fresh for a long time and are easy to squeeze. Always make sure you work in a well-ventilated space because of the solvents used with oil paint.

Dex knows - user tips
Are you painting indoors? Then make sure there is sufficient ventilation, and never spray the paint directly – always work the colour onto the canvas with a brush or palette knife.
