These handy plastic drawing mats are perfect for working with thick paint and texture pastes. With 5 different shapes, you always have the right mat to hand for your creative project.
When do you choose this product?
What do these stencil mats do?
These Marabu stencil mats are specially developed for working with thick, paste-like paints, structure pastes and gels. They serve as a tool for mixed media techniques, in which you combine different materials and textures in your artwork. The mats help you apply these thick materials in a controlled way.
Why choose 5 different shapes?
With 5 different shapes, you get more variety in your creative possibilities than with standard round or square templates. Each shape offers different patterns and effects, so you can create different textures and structures within one set. This makes the set more versatile than individual mats with just one shape.
Suitable for paste-like materials
These mats are specifically designed for use with thick, paste-like paints and structure pastes. Unlike thin paint, these materials have their own consistency that requires special tools to work with them properly. The plastic mats can withstand these thicker materials and are easy to clean after use.
Practical use in mixed media
The mats are a perfect fit for mixed media projects, where you use different techniques and materials together. You can combine them with other art materials to create layered effects. Thanks to their plastic construction, they are durable enough for repeated use and easy to clean between different colours and materials.
