When do you need a complete brush starter set?
This 5-piece brush starter set is ideal when you want a complete basis for various painting and crafting projects. Whether you're starting out with painting at school, doing creative projects at home or simply want the right brush to hand at all times, this set gives you everything you need for most paint and painting work.

Why this mix of flat and round brushes?
This set cleverly combines two different brush types, each with its own function. The flat bristle brushes in sizes 8 and 12 are perfect for filling large areas and broad strokes. The round synthetic brushes in sizes 2, 4 and 8 are ideal for detail work, lines and precision work where you need more control.

What makes these brushes suitable for intensive use?
The flat brushes have real pig bristles, which means they are firm and durable for working with different types of paint. The round brushes have synthetic hairs that are easy to clean and hold their shape well. Both types have wooden handles that feel comfortable in the hand during extended use.

Practical tip for optimal use
Always rinse your brushes straight after use with lukewarm water, as the synthetic brushes in particular keep their pointed shape best this way. The flat brushes with unvarnished handles are best left to dry horizontally, so the wood doesn't warp and the pig bristles keep their shape.
