What does this product do?
This Marabu palette knife set is specially developed for creating structures and patterns in paint, pastes and gels. You use these plastic knives when you want more than just flat painting and want to add texture to your artwork. They are ideal for mixed media projects, acrylic paintings and decorative techniques where relief and dimension are desired.

Why three different shapes?
The set contains three knives, each with a unique shape, allowing you to achieve different effects. Each knife creates its own specific structure patterns when you draw it through paint, paste or gel. By alternating between the different shapes, you can combine varied textures within a single artwork and create interesting visual contrasts.

Plastic material for optimal flexibility
The plastic material ensures that the knives are flexible enough to glide smoothly through various media, yet firm enough to leave clear patterns behind. Unlike metal knives, these plastic variants won't damage your surface and are easier to clean after use with water-based materials.

Compatibility with different materials
These Marabu knives work excellently with acrylic paints, texture pastes, modelling paste and various types of gels. You can use them on canvas, cardboard, wood and other painting surfaces. For the best results, first apply the material with a brush, then work the desired structure into it using the knives.
