Handy plug with built-in strainer that catches hair and dirt. With the convenient push function, you open and close the drain easily without having to bend down.
When do you choose this product?
What does this plug do?
A drain plug closes the drain of a washbasin, bath or sink so that you can hold water, and lets the water drain away again when you open the plug. This Metaltex model combines a plug with a built-in strainer insert, which catches hair and other coarse debris and makes the drain less likely to block.
Which drains is this model suitable for?
This plug is designed for drain openings with a diameter of 70 to 115 mm, a wide range that fits most standard washbasins, bathtubs and sinks. Thanks to this generous adjustment range, you don't need to know the exact size of your drain to the millimetre before purchasing the plug.
The push function: handy in practice
Instead of lifting the plug by hand, this model works with a push function: one press on the plug opens the drain, another press closes it again. This is convenient when your hands are wet or soapy. The plug is made from a combination of stainless steel, plastic and silicone, which ensures a sturdy construction with a flexible seal.
Dimensions and fitting
The dimensions of the plug are 110 × 110 × 39 mm, which indicates that the top part of the plug has a fairly wide cover plate. Please note that the cover plate is visible around the drain, so check that there is sufficient flat space at the bottom of your washbasin or bath. The silver/grey colour matches well with common sanitary ware in chrome or stainless steel finishes.
