Handy funnel for filling jars and bottles without spills. Thanks to the handle and wide opening, you work quickly and neatly, and it is also dishwasher-safe.
When do you choose this product?
What does this funnel do and when do you need it?
When bottling jam, marmalade or chutney, you want to transfer hot fillings into jars quickly and neatly. An ordinary funnel is often too narrow or too small for this, so you spill and your worktop or the outside of the jar gets messy. This marmalade funnel is specially designed for that moment in the preserving process when you don't want to hesitate.
Why this size is the right choice
The funnel has a diameter of 120 mm at the top, which makes it suitable for a wide range of jar sizes. The bottom opening has a diameter of 50 mm, so the filling flows smoothly without building up. Thanks to the large size, you need to aim less precisely and filling several jars one after another goes faster.
Material and care
The funnel is made of PP (polypropylene), a plastic that is resistant to higher temperatures and suitable for contact with warm preserving products. After use, you can simply place it in the dishwasher, which keeps cleaning easy. The material is sturdy enough for regular use during the preserving season.
Practical in use
The built-in handle ensures you hold the funnel firmly, even when your hands are wet or when you're filling several jars quickly. Place the funnel in the jar, scoop or pour the marmalade straight in, then lift it away without spilling. Because the funnel fits many different jar sizes, one piece is enough for most of your preserving collection.
