What do you use this milk jug for?

A milk jug is handy when you want to pour milk, cream or coffee cream into your coffee or tea in a controlled way. For serving sauces or dressings at the table, a jug like this is also more practical than a large bottle or carton. With this metaltex model, you do so in a neat, tidy way.

Why this size and this set?

The jug has a capacity of 160 ml, which is suitable for individual portions or for serving a small group. Because they are supplied in packs of 6, you have enough for a fully set table or for use in a small hospitality establishment. You then don't have to keep refilling while serving.

Material: glass with plastic lid

The jug is made of glass with a black lid of ABS plastic. Glass does not absorb liquids and does not give off any odour or flavour, which is pleasant if you use the jugs alternately for milk and sauces. The black lid keeps the contents covered when the jug is standing on the table for a while.

Practical tip for use and storage

As the jugs are made of glass, it is wise to handle them carefully and store them separately from heavy crockery. The set of 6 is convenient to keep together in a display or cupboard. Before use, check whether the ABS plastic lid is dishwasher-safe, as not all plastic lids withstand high wash temperatures — this is usually stated in the enclosed usage information.
