A durable alternative to disposable straws: these glass straws, made from sturdy borosilicate glass, will last time and time again. Includes a handy cleaning brush so you can keep them fresh and hygienically clean.
When do you choose this product?
What are these glass straws and when do you use them?
Reusable straws are an alternative to disposable plastic if you regularly drink beverages through a straw. You use them at home at the table, with smoothies, soft drinks or other cold drinks where a straw comes in handy. With this set of 4 pieces, you have enough for a household straight away.
Why glass straws in this size?
These straws are made of borosilicate glass, a type of glass known for its sturdiness and its resistance to temperature differences. At a length of 20 cm, they fit well in standard glasses and tumblers. The diameter of 8 mm is wide enough for thicker drinks such as smoothies or milkshakes, but also works perfectly with ordinary soft drinks.
Transparent material: an honest advantage and point of attention
Thanks to the transparent glass, you can see straight away whether the straw is clean on the inside, which is harder to judge with opaque materials. Glass does not absorb odours or flavours, so every drink keeps its pure taste. Do keep in mind that glass is fragile; take care when used by young children or in situations where the straw could easily fall.
Practical tip: cleaning and storage
Each set comes with a cleaning brush, with which you can easily clean the inside of the straw. Rinse the straw through straight after use and use the brush for a thorough clean. Store the straws in a dry place where they cannot roll or fall, so you can enjoy them for a long time.
