When do you choose this product?
What are origami folding sheets and when do you need them?
Origami folding sheets are special paper for the Japanese art of paper folding, whereby you create works of art by folding alone, without glue or scissors. You need these sheets for origami projects, creative workshops, art lessons or as a relaxing hobby. The square format is essential because most origami patterns are based on a perfect square shape.
Why the 200×200 mm size is ideal
This 200×200 mm size gives you the perfect balance between workability and detail. It is large enough to carry out complex folds accurately, but not so large that it becomes unwieldy while folding. For beginners this size is very suitable because you can clearly see what you are doing, while advanced folders can also make intricate models with it.
The paper weight makes the difference
At 70 grams per square metre, this paper has the ideal thickness for origami. It is sturdy enough to make multiple folds without tearing, yet remains pliable enough to achieve sharp, precise creases. This weight ensures that your creations keep their shape and look professional.
Practical benefits of assorted colours
The 60 sheets come in assorted colours, which means you get different shades without knowing exactly which ones in advance. This gives you variety for multiple projects and makes every folding session a pleasant surprise. Store the sheets flat and dry to prevent creases, so you always have smooth paper to start with.
