When do you choose this product?
What are water-washable wax crayons?
Wax crayons are ideal for creative projects where you want to create soft, vibrant colours. These Pelikan wax crayons are washable with water, so you can easily remove them from paper and clothing. They are perfect for children experimenting with different drawing techniques or for art projects at school.
Why choose this 8-colour set?
This set contains exactly the right basic colours: black, brown, green, blue, red, orange, yellow and white. With these eight colours you can make all the primary and secondary colours, plus white for highlights and black for outlines. It is a complete starter set that offers plenty of variety without being overwhelming.
The benefits of beeswax in wax crayons
These wax crayons contain beeswax, so they glide more smoothly over the paper than ordinary wax crayons. The beeswax ensures richer colour release and makes the crayons softer to use. They break less easily and deliver a more even colour, which is especially pleasant when colouring in large areas.
Practical use and storage
The crayons come in a handy plastic case that provides protection during transport and storage. The set also includes a scraper, which you can use to make small wax shavings for special effects. Each crayon has a paper sleeve that provides grip and prevents your hands from getting dirty while drawing.
