When do you choose this product?
When do you use oil pastels?
Oil pastels are ideal for art projects where you want to work with intense, opaque colours that easily blend and overlap. This type of pastel applies softly and smoothly to paper, making it perfect for colourful drawings, illustrations and creative projects at school or at home.
Why a set of 12 colours?
This set contains exactly the right basic colours to get started with oil pastels. With lemon yellow, light orange, orange, brown, red, light blue, cobalt blue, green, yellow-green, grey, white and black, you have a complete selection of primary colours, earth tones and neutral colours. This lets you create both realistic and imaginative artworks.
Brilliant and opaque colours
The great advantage of these PentArt oil pastels is that the colours are brilliant and opaque. This means you can achieve intense, vibrant results with light pressure. The colours cover well, so you can create dark areas but also apply light accents over dark backgrounds.
Practical packaging
The set comes in a cardboard box with a plastic insert that stores your oil pastels neatly and safely. The insert prevents the pastels from breaking and keeps your workspace clean. You can easily take the set to school, a course or on holiday, and all 12 colours remain clearly arranged.
