When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
Pentel Sign Pen Artist brush pens are art pens with a flexible synthetic fibre tip that works like a paintbrush. These pens are ideal for calligraphy, lettering, illustrations and artistic projects where you want to create both fine lines and broader strokes. The brush-like tip responds to pressure, so you can create different line widths within a single stroke.
Why this colour distribution and quantities?
This set contains 48 pens divided across 12 colours, with a smart distribution: 12 black and 6 grey pens for basic work, plus 3 each of the other 10 colours. This combination is practical because black and grey are used most for outlines, shadows and details, while the coloured pens provide accents and filling.
Water-based ink for versatile use
The water-based ink makes these pens suitable for a variety of techniques and paper types. Water-based ink dries quickly, has less odour than alcohol-based alternatives and is easier to clean from hands and surfaces. Moreover, you can create interesting effects by blending colours while they are still wet.
Recognition and organisation
Each pen has colour identification on the cap, so you can quickly find the right colour while you work. This is especially useful for projects where you regularly switch between colours. Store the pens horizontally to keep the ink flowing optimally, and always replace the caps properly to prevent the ink from drying out.
