When do you choose this product?
When do you need professional colouring pencils?
These POSCA colouring pencils have been specially developed for artists who work with high-quality materials. You choose this type of pencil when you are doing detailed drawing work, creating illustrations or carrying out art projects where colour depth and precision are important. The special lead formula with wax and oil delivers a professional finish that ordinary colouring pencils cannot offer.
Why a set of 36 colours?
With 36 different colours, you have an extensive colour palette at your disposal, from basic shades such as white, yellow and red to specific tones such as emerald green, coral pink and Prussian blue. This variety allows you to create nuanced colour transitions and realise complex artworks without having to mix colours. The case keeps all the pencils organised and protects them during transport.
What makes these pencils special?
The special lead composition with wax and oil ensures a soft, smooth colour release that is intense and concentrated. The leads are break-resistant, meaning they are less likely to snap during use than standard colouring pencils. This is especially useful for detailed work or when you apply a little more pressure while drawing.
Practical details for use
Each pencil has a round shape, which feels comfortable in the hand during prolonged use. The high-quality pigments in these POSCA pencils produce deep, rich colours that are suitable for various paper types. Store the pencils in the supplied case to protect the tips and to prevent colours from rubbing off onto one another.
