Everything you need to get started with acrylic paint straight away is in this 20-piece starter set from Amsterdam. With 12 tubes of assorted colours, brushes, markers, modelling paste and a painting card, you are fully equipped right away.
When do you choose this product?
What does this starter set do, and when do you need it?
Acrylic paint is a versatile medium that dries quickly, covers well and is suitable for many different surfaces. This starter set from Royal Talens Amsterdam is intended for anyone who wants to start acrylic painting or is looking for a complete package without having to buy separate items. Everything you need to get started right away is included in one set.
Why this size and this composition?
The set contains 12 tubes of acrylic paint of 20 ml each in assorted colours, plus a large 120 ml tube of titanium white. Titanium white is the colour most often used in acrylic work for mixing and lightening shades, so it makes sense that it is included in a larger size. Alongside the paint, two flat brushes are included in sizes 6 and 18 mm, so you can paint both fine details and broader areas.
An honest look at the accessories
In addition to the paint and brushes, the set contains 120 ml of modelling paste, two 4 mm acrylic markers in oxide black and titanium white, a 180 x 240 mm painting board and a size M palette knife. The modelling paste allows you to add texture and relief to your work. Please note that only one painting board is included, which is sufficient for trying out the materials, but for continued use you will need to purchase additional surfaces separately.
Practical tip for use
The acrylic markers in this set are only available in oxide black and titanium white, which makes them useful for outlines and accents. The set is not specifically linked to a template or a particular type of printer, so it can be used broadly for free creative work on paper, card or canvas.
