Eight powerful colours that go on opaque and intense onto your paper. This gouache is water-thinnable and therefore very handy to use, whether you're sketching, painting or learning to experiment with colour.
When do you choose this product?
What is gouache paint and when do you use it?
Gouache paint is a water-based paint that stands out for its opaque qualities. You can use gouache for paintings, illustrations, designs and creative projects where you need intense colours and good coverage. This paint is water-soluble, so you can easily dilute and mix it.
Why choose a set of 8 colours?
This set of 8 tubes contains a carefully selected colour collection with white, lemon yellow, dark pink, light blue, dark green, yellow ochre, burnt umber and black. These colours form a complete basic palette with which you can create almost any desired shade by mixing. It is ideal for beginners who want to start with gouache or for experienced users looking for a handy basic set.
High colour intensity for versatile use
This ArtCreation Expression gouache is characterised by its high colour intensity, allowing you to achieve vibrant and powerful results. The paint has versatile opaque properties, meaning you can achieve both transparent and fully opaque effects by adjusting the dilution. This makes the paint suitable for various painting techniques.
Practical application and dilution
Because the paint is water-soluble, you can easily dilute it with water to get the desired consistency. For thicker, paste-like effects, use the paint straight from the tube; for watercolour-like effects, dilute with more water. Store opened tubes tightly closed to prevent them from drying out.
