When do you need soft pastels?
Soft pastels are ideal for artists who want to work with intense colours and soft transitions. You use them for landscapes, portraits and expressive artworks where you want to blend and smudge colours. The soft consistency makes it possible to quickly fill large areas with colour and create subtle colour gradations.

Why choose the landscape selection?
This set contains 60 full-length pastels that have been specially selected for landscape painting. The colour composition is tailored to the natural tones you need for sky, water, mountains and vegetation. With 60 different colours, you have enough variation to create realistic landscapes without constantly having to mix colours.

Advantage of full pastels instead of half
You receive full pastels rather than half sticks, which means you have more material per colour. This is practical because landscape painting often requires filling large areas, such as skies or foregrounds. The longer sticks last longer, and you can also use them on their side for broad strokes.

Practical storage tip for your materials
The pastels are supplied in a high-quality wooden box that keeps your set neatly organised. Always return the pastels to their original place after use, so your colours don't get contaminated by contact with other shades. The wooden packaging protects your investment and also makes the set suitable as a gift for other artists.
