When do you need soft pastels?
Soft pastels are used for creating paintings and drawings in which you want to achieve rich colours and soft transitions. This technique is ideal for portraits, landscapes and artistic works where colour mixing and atmospheric effects matter greatly.

Why choose a set of 150 pieces?
With 150 full-sized pastels, you have an extensive range of colours at your disposal, allowing you to mix or directly apply almost any colour you desire. This Master Box contains a carefully curated colour selection suitable for both beginners and advanced artists who want to build a complete basic collection.

What does the soft quality of these pastels mean?
The soft consistency ensures that the pastels release easily onto paper and blend well with your fingers or special tools. You can use them to fill in both fine details and large areas, with the colours remaining intense and vibrant. The soft texture makes subtle colour transitions possible.

Practical storage tip for optimal use
The wooden box keeps your pastels neatly organised and protects them from breaking. Store the box horizontally and make sure the pastels do not rub against each other during transport. By keeping the full-sized pastels intact, you can work with the tip for details as well as with the side for broad areas.
