This watercolour brush with goat hair gives you fine control over every brushstroke, from detailed lines to soft areas of colour. The round, pointed shape and sturdy brass ferrule ensure precision you will find again and again in your work.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a round pointed watercolour brush?
A round pointed watercolour brush is indispensable for detail work and precision techniques in watercolour painting. You use this brush shape for painting fine lines, small details and pointed elements in your watercolour work. The round shape with a pointed tip gives you the control you need for accurate work.
Why goat hair is the right choice
This brush is made from goat hair, which is an excellent choice for watercolour paint. Goat hair absorbs water well and holds the paint beautifully, while still retaining enough firmness for controlled painting. The hair keeps its shape well and springs back to a pointed tip after use.
Durable construction for long-term use
The brush has a plastic swan-neck ferrule wrapped with stainless steel wire. This construction ensures a firm connection between the hair and the handle. The short handle is clearly varnished, which not only gives a neat finish but also protects against moisture and paint.
Practical tip for optimal results
When working with this no. 6 brush, you get a medium-sized brushstroke that is suitable for both details and slightly larger areas. Always rinse the brush thoroughly after use and reshape the tip with your fingers while the hair is still damp. This way you keep the pointed shape at its best for your next painting session.
