This set of flat brushes in sizes 2, 4 and 6 gives you the flexibility to combine details and larger areas effortlessly. The fine golden hairs hold paint well, and the nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures a sturdy, long lifespan for oil and acrylic work.
When do you choose this product?
When should you choose an oil/acrylic brush set?
This Van Gogh brush set has been specially developed for working with both oil paint and acrylic paint. You need these brushes when you want to try out different techniques or regularly switch between both types of paint. The set gives you the flexibility to use both media with one brush set.
Why these sizes 2, 4 and 6?
This combination of three different sizes gives you a good foundation for a variety of painting techniques. With size 2 you work on fine details, size 4 is ideal for medium-sized areas and size 6 is used for larger surfaces. This range covers the most commonly used sizes for beginners and experienced painters alike.
Gold-coloured polyester fibres for durability
The brushes are made with fine gold-coloured polyester fibres instead of natural hair. This synthetic hair retains its shape well and is less sensitive to the aggressive solvents used with oil paint. The flat shape (Gussow) ensures an even paint release and is perfect for applying smooth surfaces.
Professional finish with a brass ferrule
The seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the bristles are held firmly without falling out while painting. The long, glossy lacquered handle gives you more control and comfort during extended work. Thanks to the quality of the ferrule, the brushes stay in good condition for longer, even with intensive use.
