What do you use PIGMA MICRON fineliners for?
PIGMA MICRON fineliners are specially developed for precision work where you need permanent, black lines. You use them for technical drawings, illustrations, hand lettering, architectural sketches and detailed drawing work. Thanks to the permanent ink, they are also suitable for documents that need to be kept for a long time.

Why this set of 8 different tip sizes?
This set gives you 8 different line widths: 0.15 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.45 mm and 0.5 mm. With this range, you can move from very fine details to thicker outlines within a single project. You don't need to search for loose pens in different sizes, as you have the complete range to hand straight away.

What do permanent, colourfast, waterproof and lightfast ink mean?
PIGMA MICRON ink is permanent, which means your lines won't fade or bleed when you work over them later with other materials. The ink is colourfast (it doesn't fade), waterproof (it won't run when exposed to moisture) and lightfast (it doesn't deteriorate when exposed to light). This makes the fineliners reliable for archiving and professional use.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store the fineliners horizontally with the cap on to prevent them from drying out. Because of the fine tips, these pens are sensitive to pressure, so apply light pressure while drawing. For the best results, use them on smooth paper, as rough paper can damage the fine tip more quickly.
