What does this Manga set do?
This SAKURA PIGMA SENSEI set has been specially developed for drawing manga and contains everything you need for this particular kind of drawing. The fineliners are designed for detailed work and the line work that is characteristic of manga illustrations. You use this set when you want to create professional manga artwork or if you are seriously working in this Japanese drawing style.

Why these four different line widths?
The set contains four different line widths: 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm and 1.0 mm. This variety allows you to render different elements of your manga drawing, from fine details and facial expressions to thicker outlines and background work. By combining several line widths you create depth and variation in your artwork.

Permanent and lightfast properties
The ink in these fineliners is permanent, waterproof and lightfast. This means your drawings won't fade from exposure to light, and the lines won't bleed when you apply watercolour or other materials over them later. For manga drawings this is essential, as you often combine different layers and techniques.

Practical case for on the go
All four fineliners come supplied in a handy case, so you can easily take the set with you and keep it organised. The case prevents the caps from coming loose and protects the pens from damage during transport. That way you always have your complete manga drawing set to hand whenever inspiration strikes.
