You choose the SHARP EL-243 S when you need a reliable calculator for everyday calculations at the office, at school or on the go. With its 8-digit display, you can enter and calculate numbers up to 99,999,999, which is sufficient for standard administrative tasks, accounting calculations and schoolwork.

Why this size is ideal for mobility
This calculator measures 64 x 105 x 11 mm and weighs just 51 grams, so it fits perfectly in your shirt pocket, bag or pencil case. The fold-out case protects the display and keys during transport, so you can take the calculator with you without worrying about damage.

Dual power for reliability
The EL-243 S runs on both solar power and an included LR1130 battery. In sufficient light, it automatically uses solar power, and it switches seamlessly to battery power in low light. The automatic power-off function conserves the battery when you are not using the calculator.

Handy functions for practical use
In addition to the basic operations, this calculator offers memory, square root, percentage calculation and a sign change function. These functions make more complex calculations easier without having to write down intermediate results. The combination of these calculation functions makes it suitable for both simple additions and more extensive financial calculations.
