When do you choose this product?
What does an HDMI switch do?
An HDMI switch is useful when you want to connect more devices to your TV or monitor than you have HDMI ports. This Shiverpeaks switch lets you switch between 2 HDMI sources on 1 display device. Ideal when, for example, you want to connect a laptop and games console to the same monitor that has only one HDMI input.
Why choose this 2-port variant?
With 2 inputs, this switch is perfect for standard office or home situations where you regularly use two devices. You no longer have to manually swap cables between your laptop and other equipment. The switch offers both automatic switching and manual operation via the included remote control.
4K2K support for sharp picture quality
This switch supports 4K2K resolution and is compatible with the HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.2 standards. This means you can display modern high-definition content without any loss of quality. 3D content is also supported, which is handy for presentations or entertainment with special visual effects.
Practical installation and operation
The switch comes complete with a power adapter and mounting bracket for simple installation. Thanks to CEC support, the switch can automatically change over when you switch on a connected device. For manual operation, simply use the included remote control, so you don't need to be at the switch itself to change source.
