Sturdy hexagonal colouring pencils with a break-proof core for intense colour. The 12 dark shades give your drawings extra depth and character.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need colouring pencils with dark shades?
These STAEDTLER Edition 1 colouring pencils have been specially developed for work where you need dark colour tones. You choose this set when you are making projects that require more depth and contrast, such as sketches, illustrations or art projects where light colours do not have enough impact.
Why a 3.0 mm thick point is ideal
The 3.0 mm lead width strikes a perfect balance between precision and colour coverage. You can use it to work out fine details as well as to colour larger areas without having to keep re-sharpening. This thickness gives you more control than thicker pencils, but fills faster than thin pencils.
Break-resistant lead for intensive use
The break-resistant lead means these colouring pencils withstand pressure and falls. You don't need to worry about broken points during your work, which is especially handy during intensive use or when you apply a lot of pressure for dark, saturated colours. The lead delivers a soft and intense application of colour.
Practical hexagonal shape and easy colour recognition
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencils from rolling off your desk and sits comfortably in your hand during extended use. Each pencil is lacquered in the colour of its lead, so you can quickly identify the right colour without having to test it first. With 12 different dark shades, you have a complete foundation for your dark colour work.
