When do you need HB pencils?
HB pencils are the standard choice for general writing and drawing. This degree of hardness offers the perfect balance between a dark line and enough firmness to keep the point sharp for a long time. You use HB pencils for everyday notes, sketches, technical drawings and schoolwork where you want a clear, easy-to-read line.

Why choose this 100-piece value pack?
With 100 STAEDTLER pencils in one pack, you're well stocked for a long time, perfect for offices, schools or heavy users. The pack contains 90 pencils plus 10 free ones, which makes it extra good value. The hexagonal shape ensures the pencils won't roll off your desk and gives you a stable grip while writing.

Durable wood with an extra strong lead
These pencils are made from UPCYCLED WOOD, which means recycled wood is used in production. The lead is approximately 2 mm thick and, thanks to its special glued-core construction, extra break-resistant. This prevents frustrating breakages during use, even when you press a little harder on the paper.

Practical usage tips
The yellow/black lacquer coating makes these pencils easy to spot in your pencil case. Thanks to the special lead composition, they are both easy to erase and simple to sharpen with any standard pencil sharpener. Preferably store the pencils upright in a pencil holder, or keep them horizontal in a drawer to protect the points.
