When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This drawing set has been specially put together for creating expressive drawings, sketches and landscape images. The combination of different drawing materials makes it possible to add depth, shadow and contrast to your artworks. Use this set when you want to make realistic drawings in which variation in line types and textures is important.
Why this 12-piece composition?
The set contains 6 Mars Lumograph black pencils and 3 Mars Lumograph charcoal drawing sticks, giving you a range of degrees of hardness and textures. This ratio gives you the flexibility to create both fine lines and broad, soft shading. With 12 pieces you have enough variety for extensive drawing projects without having to buy materials constantly.
Complete package with handy tools
In addition to the drawing and charcoal sticks, the set includes a paper stump for blending charcoal and graphite, an eraser for corrections and a pencil sharpener. These additions make it a complete drawing set, so you don't need to buy separate tools. The paper stump is especially useful for creating soft transitions in your drawings.
Practical tip for use
When drawing landscapes, start with the Mars Lumograph black pencils for the basic lines and details. Then use the Mars Lumograph charcoal drawing sticks for shaded areas and dark accents. The paper stump helps you soften hard lines and create realistic shadows. Keep the parts together in the original packaging so you don't lose anything.
