When do you choose this product?
What are TOMBOW IROJITEN colored pencils?
These handmade colored pencils from TOMBOW are specially developed for soft pastel shades. You choose this set when you're working on projects that call for subtle, gentle colour tones rather than bright, saturated colours. The IROJITEN series is ideal for illustrations, sketches and artworks where a delicate colour expression is desired.
Why this Volume 1 pastel set?
With 10 carefully selected pastel colours, you get a complete basic set for your first introduction to pastel colours. This Volume 1 contains a well-balanced colour selection that works well together. The set offers enough variety to try out different techniques without being overwhelmed by too many choices.
Handmade quality with 2.0 mm lead
These colored pencils are entirely handmade, which ensures consistent quality in colour application. The 2.0 mm lead is thicker than standard colored pencils, so you can colour both fine details and large areas. The white lacquered, round barrel of approximately 180 mm in length and 7.0 mm in diameter sits comfortably in your hand during long drawing sessions.
Practical book-style packaging
The colored pencils come in book-style packaging that is not only attractive but also practical for storage. You can easily place the set on a bookshelf or take it along in your drawing bag. This packaging protects the pencils and helps you keep track of which colours you have.
