When do you need an under-cabinet light with a motion sensor?
An under-cabinet light with a motion sensor is ideal for places where you often need to work in the dark, such as under kitchen cupboards, in storage cupboards or workspaces. The light switches on automatically when you approach and provides instant lighting without having to look for a switch first.

Why choose this slim rechargeable model?
This VARTA Slim Light is rechargeable via USB-C, which means you don't have to replace batteries and you're flexible in where you place it. Thanks to its slim design, the light fits under virtually all cabinets and takes up little space. The warm white light gives a pleasant, homely feel.

How exactly does the motion sensor work?
The motion sensor detects movement within a radius of 3 metres and an angle of 120 degrees. This wide detection area means the light comes on before you're right next to it. After use, the light switches off automatically after 20 seconds, which saves energy and extends battery life.

Practical installation tip
A USB-C cable is supplied with the light for charging. Make sure you install the light in a place where the sensor has a clear view of the area you want to light, without obstacles that could hinder detection. For optimal performance, mount the light at a height where the 120-degree angle covers the desired area well.
