What does this lantern do and when do you need it?

The VARTA Outdoor lantern L10 is a rechargeable camping lantern that lights up the area all around you thanks to a 360-degree beam. You need it when you want a reliable light source that you can hang up or place on the ground while camping, during a power cut or during outdoor activities. The built-in hook makes it easy to attach the lantern to a tent, awning or other structure.

Why USB-C charging is a practical advantage

The L10 can be charged via USB-C, the connection you probably already use for your phone or laptop. This means that on the go you can charge multiple devices with one cable, without having to bring extra adapters. Do note: the lantern can also run on 4 AA batteries, but these are not included in the delivery.

Honest about the protection rating

The IP54 classification means the lantern is protected against splashing water and dust particles from any direction, but it is not suitable for submersion in water. For use in rain or in a damp environment, this protection rating provides sufficient assurance. The rubber elements around the housing also provide better grip and extra protection against falls from up to one metre high.

Practical use: two light modes for different situations

On the high setting you use the lantern when you need maximum lighting, for example when pitching a tent or preparing a meal outdoors. The low setting is suitable for ambient lighting or when you want to conserve the battery. By switching between these two modes, you adjust the consumption to what the situation requires.
