What does this utility knife do and when do you need it?
A utility knife is used for precise cutting of various materials such as cardboard, plastic film, tape and paper. This plastic utility knife from WESTEX is specially designed for situations where you need a lightweight cutting tool without metal parts.

Why choose this plastic model?
This version is made entirely of plastic, with no metal guide. This makes the knife particularly suitable for environments where metal detection takes place or where you want to avoid the risk of metal contamination.

How does the snap-off knife work in practice?
You can snap off the blade segment by segment when it becomes blunt, so you always have a sharp cutting edge. The plastic construction makes the knife lighter than metal alternatives, which makes it less tiring to use during longer tasks.

Practical tip for optimal use
Make sure you only cut materials that are suitable for plastic knives. For heavy industrial applications, you may need a knife with a metal guide. Store spare blades in a dry place to keep them sharp, and replace the blade regularly for the best results.
