When should you choose a paint roller with thick pile?
A paint roller with 8 mm pile is specifically suited to rough surfaces such as textured paint, concrete or coarse plaster. This extra-thick pile ensures that the paint penetrates well into all the unevenness and pores of the surface. On smooth walls, this roller would leave too much texture behind.

Why choose the 250 mm size?
With a roller width of 250 mm, you cover large surfaces quickly, which saves time when painting walls and ceilings. This size is ideal when you need to paint a lot of square metres and don't want to keep topping up with paint. For small areas or detail work, a narrower roller would be more convenient.

What does the 8 mm pile mean in practice?
The 8 mm thick pile absorbs a lot of paint and releases it gradually while you roll. This gives you an even coat of paint, even on uneven surfaces. The downside is that you need more paint than with thinner pile, but in return you get a professional finish on difficult surfaces.

Mind the correct roller frame
This paint roller has a core diameter of 44 mm, which means you need a roller frame that fits this standard size. Most professional roller frames come in this size, but check beforehand to avoid disappointment. The pile height of 18 mm ensures that the roller fits firmly on the frame.
