This is why Dex likes this article
This Canson drawing block is well suited to watercolour and dry techniques thanks to its lightly grained texture. With 10 sturdy sheets in a large format, you have plenty of room to let your creativity run free.
When do you choose this product?
When should you choose a sketch pad?
A sketch pad is the right choice when you want to draw or paint on loose sheets of paper that you can easily tear out of the pad. This CANSON Imagine sketch pad with 10 sheets is ideal for artists and hobbyists who want to try out different techniques without buying a large number of sheets straight away.
Why this size and weight?
The size of 500×650 mm offers enough space for medium-sized artworks and detailed work. The paper weight of 200 g/m² ensures the paper is sturdy enough for various techniques without tearing, yet not so heavy that it becomes awkward to work with.
Versatile thanks to the light grain
The lightly textured surface of this paper makes it suitable for multiple techniques. You can use it for watercolour, acrylic paint and dry techniques such as pencil, charcoal or pastel. This versatility means you don't have to buy separate paper for each technique.
Practical considerations for use
The white paper gives you a neutral surface that shows the true colours of your materials. With 10 sheets in the pad, you have enough paper for a series of works or for experimenting. Store the sketch pad flat and dry to prevent warping, which is especially important when using wet techniques such as watercolour.
