With this Ciao starter set you can start on layouts, sketches and illustrations straight away. You blend the three colours effortlessly thanks to the quick-drying alcohol-based ink, and the dual tip lets you switch quickly between fine lines and broad areas. The enclosed A5 pad means you can get going right away.
When do you choose this product?
What does this marker set do?
COPIC Ciao markers are professional drawing markers developed specifically for layouts, sketching and illustrating. This starter set contains three carefully chosen colours so you can get started straight away.
Why this particular colour combination?
The three markers in this Layer & Mix set have been strategically chosen: W-5 (Warm Gray No. 5) for shadows and details, E-31 (Brick Beige) for warm tones, and V-91 (Pale Grape) for subtle accents. These colours complement each other and provide a good basis for a variety of drawing projects.
Dual-tip system for versatility
Each marker has two different tips: a medium-fine nib for precise lines and details, and a flexible brush tip for filling areas and creating soft transitions. The alcohol-based ink dries quickly and is blendable, so you can easily create colour gradients and new shades by layering the markers over each other.
Complete package with suitable paper
The set includes an A5 sketch pad of special marker paper that prevents the ink from bleeding through and ensures optimal colour reproduction. This paper is matched to the properties of COPIC markers, so you can start drawing straight away without having to buy separate suitable paper.

Dex knows - user tips
Let the ink soak in for a moment before applying a second layer, as this prevents colours from bleeding unintentionally. Preferably use the markers in a well-ventilated room, as the alcohol base can be unpleasant in an enclosed space if used for long periods.
