When do you need alcohol-based markers?
COPIC markers are essential for drawing, illustration and design work where you want professional results. The alcohol base ensures quick drying times and prevents your drawing from bleeding. You mainly use these markers for manga, comics, graphic design and architectural sketches where colour gradients and a professional finish are important.

Why choose this 36-piece Set B?
This set contains a carefully curated selection of 36 different colours that complement each other well. Set B offers a broad colour palette with shades such as various blue, green, red and purple tones, plus neutral colours and greys. This makes it an ideal starter set or addition for anyone who wants to work with a varied range of colours.

Refillable and blendable system
The great advantage of COPIC markers is that you can refill them with Various Ink refills, so you benefit from your investment for a long time. The colours can be blended with one another, which means you can create smooth colour transitions and new shades by combining the markers directly on paper. This gives you far more creative freedom than ordinary pens.

Practical tip for use
Store the markers horizontally so the ink stays evenly distributed in both nibs. The markers have a broad and a fine nib, so you can colour large areas as well as draw details. Use special marker paper for the best results, as ordinary paper may let the alcohol base bleed through to the reverse side.
