With this set of 72 colours, you have a wide colour palette at your fingertips straight away. The quick-drying alcohol-based ink blends effortlessly, and thanks to the refillable tanks you can keep drawing with them for a long time.
When do you choose this product?
What are COPIC markers and when do you need them?
COPIC markers are professional drawing materials with an alcohol base, widely used by illustrators, designers and artists. These markers are ideal when you want smooth colour transitions, as the alcohol ink dries quickly and different colours blend seamlessly into one another. The refillable feature makes them more sustainable than disposable markers.
Why choose this 72-piece set?
This set gives you an extensive colour palette of 72 different shades, from yellow (Y) and orange (YR) to blue (B), green (G) and neutral tones (C and E). You also get a special blender (0), with which you can make colour transitions even softer. With this selection you have enough variety for most drawing projects without needing to buy separate markers.
How does the refill system work?
These COPIC ciao markers can be refilled with Various Ink refills, so they will last for years. The alcohol ink dries quickly and leaves no stains on the paper. Because the colours can be mixed with one another, you can create new shades by layering different markers over each other.
Practical tip for optimal use
Store your markers horizontally to prevent the ink from settling on one side. Use suitable marker paper or bleedproof paper to prevent bleed-through. The colour codes (such as Y00, R32, BG23) are printed on every marker, so you know exactly which Various Ink refill you will need later for topping up.
