When do you choose this product?
When do you need this COPIC starter set?
This COPIC Ciao starter set is ideal for beginners who want to start drawing, layouting and illustrating professionally. You get a complete basis for experimenting with different colours and techniques without having to make a large investment straight away. The set contains everything you need to get started right away.
Why this starter set is the right choice
With 10 carefully selected markers, you get a varied colour palette that forms the basis for almost any drawing. The 2 included multiliners provide sharp lines and details, while the supplied paper is specially suited to these markers. This combination means you don't have to buy separate materials.
Advantages of the dual-nib system
Each marker has two usable tips: a medium-fine nib for precise details and a brush tip for areas and colour gradations. This versatility means you can create different effects with a single marker. The alcohol-based ink dries quickly and blends well for natural colour transitions.
Practical tip for use
The markers have the colour codes BV00, RV02, RV10, Y00, YG23, G00, B00, E00, E33 and C2, which stand for different colour families from blue-violet to grey. Start with the supplied paper, as ordinary paper can let the alcohol ink bleed through. Store the markers horizontally to keep the ink flow optimal.

Dex knows - user tips
Use the markers on clean, dry paper and let each layer dry before applying a new colour. This prevents colours from unintentionally bleeding into one another. The ink is alcohol-based, so it is best to work in a well-ventilated room.
