With this basic set of 36 colours, you have a wide palette within easy reach straight away. Thanks to the dual tip, you can draw both fine details and broad areas, and the refillable ink keeps your markers going for the long haul.
When do you choose this product?
What are COPIC Sketch markers and when do you use them?
COPIC Sketch markers are professional alcohol markers developed specifically for drawing, illustration and graphic design. You need them when you want to create high-quality illustrations, draw manga, or make professional sketches in which colours must blend seamlessly into one another. Thanks to their alcohol base they dry quickly, and you can build up transparent layers without damaging the paper.
Why this basic set of 36 colours is ideal for beginners
This set contains a carefully selected range of 36 basic colours that together cover all the primary colour groups. You get yellow tones (Y11/Y13/Y15), red tones (R2/R08), blue tones (B05/B06/B14), green tones (G07/G17/G21), grey tones (C1/C3/C5/C7/C9) and neutral colours (W1/W3/W5/W7/W9). This combination forms a solid foundation for most drawing projects without leaving you overwhelmed by too many choices.
Two tips in one marker for maximum versatility
Each marker has two different tips: a medium tip for details and line drawings, and a brush tip for filling larger areas and creating varying line widths. This dual-ended system means you effectively have 72 drawing tools in one set, which increases your flexibility and efficiency while drawing.
Refillable system saves money and is environmentally friendly
These markers can be refilled with COPIC Various Ink refills, so you don't have to buy new markers each time the ink runs out. In addition, the colours can be mixed with one another, allowing you to create new shades by combining colours on paper. This makes the investment in this set even more worthwhile for long-term use.
