When do you need a KVM extender set?
A KVM extender set such as this DIGITUS solution is used when you want to operate a computer remotely while your screen, keyboard and mouse are located elsewhere. This is useful in situations where your computer needs to be placed elsewhere for security or space reasons, but you still want to be able to work locally.

Why choose this 120 metre version?
With a maximum transmission distance of 120 metres via Cat. 6 cable, this set offers plenty of flexibility for larger office spaces, server rooms or situations where the computer and workstation are far apart. You use standard network cables for this, which makes installation simpler and more cost-effective than with special extension cables.

Image quality and performance
This KVM extender set supports a resolution of up to 1080p at 60 Hz, ensuring sharp images without lag. The data rate of 10/100/100 MBit/s ensures that your keyboard and mouse movements are transmitted instantly, without noticeable latency while you work.

Practical installation and compatibility
The compact aluminium housing, measuring 90 x 110 x 26 mm, takes up little space. The set works with standard USB keyboards and mice, so you do not need to purchase any special peripheral equipment. For the connection, you need Cat. 6 network cable to bridge the full 120 metre distance.
