When do you choose this product?
When do you need a monochrome drawing set?
This drawing set is ideal when you want to draw in shades of grey and explore black-and-white techniques. Whether you are a beginning artist who wants to try out different drawing materials, or an experienced sketcher who enjoys combining different degrees of hardness and textures, this set gives you the essential tools for monochrome work.
Why choose this 12-piece composition?
This set contains a carefully selected range from the CASTELL 9000 series, graphite sticks and PITT MONOCHROME pencils. By combining different materials in one case, you can vary between fine line drawings and large-area shading. The compact 12-piece size means you won't be overwhelmed by too many choices, while still having enough variety.
What makes this combination of materials special?
The combination of CASTELL 9000 pencils with graphite sticks and PITT MONOCHROME materials gives you access to different drawing techniques in one set. Graphite sticks are perfect for creating broad, soft shading and atmospheric backgrounds, while the pencils are suited to details and precise lines.
Practical tip for optimal use
Keep the set in the supplied case to keep your drawing materials organised and protected. Start with the harder pencils for your basic sketch, then gradually work towards the softer materials and graphite sticks for deeper shadows and textures. This prevents you from accidentally smudging details you have already drawn.
