When do you need professional colouring pencils?
These Faber-Castell Polychromos colouring pencils have been specially developed for artists who work with an oil-based lead. The oil base ensures that your colours are lightfast and waterproof, so your work stays durable. You choose these pencils when you are creating detailed colour work that needs to withstand moisture and friction.

Why choose this gift set?
This set gives you a well-balanced colour collection so you can get started straight away. You have enough variety for most projects without having to buy an enormous collection. The gift set is ideal as a starting point for beginning artists or as an addition to an existing collection.

The benefits of the 3.8 mm oil-based lead
The thick 3.8 mm lead combined with the break-resistant construction means you are less likely to suffer from broken points while drawing. The oil-based lead produces a smooth, colour-intense stroke, making it easy to create flowing colour transitions. The round shape of the pencils gives you good control over your lines.

Complete set with handy extras
In addition to the colouring pencils, you receive four Faber-Castell CASTELL 9000 graphite pencils, a DUST-FREE eraser and a metal double-hole sharpener. This gives you everything you need to start drawing straight away and keep your materials in optimal condition. The pencils are 176 mm long, a comfortable working length for detailed work.
