Turn your old 2.5-inch drive into fast external storage without any fuss. Simply click the drive into the enclosure tool-free and connect everything directly via USB 3.0, ready to use.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need an external hard drive enclosure?
This LogiLink enclosure transforms your internal 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD into an external storage solution. You need this when you want to reuse an old laptop hard drive, add extra storage space to your computer, or keep files safe on a portable drive.
Why choose this 2.5-inch format?
This format is specifically designed for the smaller hard drives found in laptops and modern SSDs up to 9.5 mm in height. This enclosure is therefore perfect if you have a laptop hard drive lying around or are looking for a compact external solution. The plastic design keeps the weight low, ideal for on the go.
USB 3.0 for fast data transfer
With a transfer speed of 5 Gbit per second, you benefit from the speed of USB 3.0. This means large files such as videos or backups are transferred considerably faster than with older USB 2.0 connections. The enclosure supports all common SATA variants: 1.5G, 3G and 6G.
Practical installation without tools
The screwless design makes installation easy: you simply click the hard drive into place without a screwdriver. Power is supplied via the USB port, so you don't need a separate adapter. Thanks to Plug & Play, the enclosure works straight away after connecting to Windows, Mac and Linux systems. The included USB cable means you can get started right away.
