Connect two hard drives to your computer at once with this handy docking station. The USB-C connection ensures fast data transfer, and the clone function makes backups a piece of cake.
When do you choose this product?
What does this docking station do?
The LogiLink Dual-Docking is a docking station that lets you connect two SATA hard drives (HDD) or SSDs to your computer at the same time via USB-C. You need this when you want to transfer data between drives, make back-ups, or read old hard drives from computers without installing them internally.
Why choose this dual format?
With two slots, you can work with different drives simultaneously or copy data directly from one drive to another. This saves time because you don't have to keep swapping drives. The station works with both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA drives, making it suitable for laptop SSDs as well as desktop hard drives.
Offline clone function for simple copies
A key feature is the offline clone function. This lets you make a complete copy from one drive to another without your computer needing to be running. You simply press the clone button and the station independently copies all the data. This is especially useful when upgrading to a new drive or making exact back-ups.
Practical connection with USB-C 3.2
The station uses a USB-C 3.2 connection for data transfer of up to 5 Gbit per second. Please note that your computer needs a USB-C port or you will need to use an adapter. Each slot supports drives up to 10 TB, and the included 12V power adapter provides enough power for larger 3.5-inch hard drives.
