When do you choose this product?
What does this HDMI extender set do?
This LogiLink HDMI extender set transmits HDMI signals over long distances via a single network cable. You need this when you want to connect a display or projector that is too far from your source for a standard HDMI cable. The set consists of a transmitter and receiver, which you connect to each other using a Cat.5e, 6, 7 or 8 network cable.
Why choose this KVM and USB model?
This variant offers more than just video transmission. With the KVM functionality, you can also operate your keyboard and mouse remotely, which is handy during presentations or when your computer is in another room. USB support makes it possible to connect peripherals on the receiver side.
Reliable Ethernet technology with IR control
The extender works on the basis of Ethernet technology, which ensures stable signal transmission via a single cable. The system features IR Loop Out functionality, allowing you to control devices remotely with your remote control. The supplied IR cables make this remote control possible.
Simple installation and mounting
The set is Plug & Play, so you don't need to install any drivers. The metal housing ensures durability and good heat dissipation. The four supplied mounting brackets allow you to fix both units securely. Please make sure you use a Cat.5e, 6, 7 or 8 network cable for the connection between transmitter and receiver.
