The cable is designed as a flat ribbon model, which counteracts coiling and kinking. In addition, an integrated stand is built into the cable, so you can neatly park it on your desk when you're not using it. That makes this version more practical than a standard round cable if you regularly plug in and unplug it.

This cable supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 up to 48V/5A, which means it is suitable for fast charging of demanding devices such as laptops. Data transfer runs via USB 2.0 at a speed of 480 Mbit/s — fast enough for transferring documents and photos, but not the best choice if you want to copy large video files at lightning speed.
Practical tip: compatibility
The built-in E-mark chip makes the cable compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 ports, even though it doesn't use those ports at full speed. You can therefore connect it without any problems to a MacBook, Dell XPS or other laptop with a Thunderbolt port for charging and light data transfer.
