This IP68 coupler keeps your network connection dust- and waterproof, even outdoors or in industrial environments. You connect cables tool-free via the clamp connection and rely on a stable connection at temperatures from 0 to 70 degrees.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need an outdoor network cable connector?
This keystone screw-thread coupling has been specially developed for network connections in outdoor and industrial environments. You need this product when you have to make a reliable RJ45 connection in spaces where dust, moisture or extreme weather conditions could pose a problem. The connector ensures that your network signal remains stable, even under harsh conditions.
Why choose cat.6A and the STP version?
This variant supports cat.6A as standard, giving you future-proof network performance for higher data speeds. The STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) version offers extra protection against electromagnetic interference, which is essential in industrial environments with a lot of electrical equipment. This makes the connector suitable for professional applications where signal integrity is crucial.
IP68 protection for extreme conditions
The key feature of this connector is the IP68 rating, which means it is fully dust-tight and waterproof. This protection ensures the connection is resistant to immersion in water and exposure to dust. The screw-thread coupling reinforces this protection by creating a mechanically sturdy seal.
Practical installation and compatibility
The connector works with AWG22-26 network cables and has a tool-free clamp connection for easy installation. The keystone design, measuring 29 x 29 x 43.8 mm, fits standard keystone panels. Please note that the operating temperature is between 0 and 70 degrees, which is suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.
