Handy saucepan covers in 6 different sizes, so you can always find the right fit for your pans. The cheerful red/blue checked pattern also keeps your kitchen cupboard tidy and fresh!
When do you choose this product?
What are saucepan covers and when do you need them?
Saucepan covers are plastic lids that you place over an open pan or pot to cover leftover food. They are handy when you want to store half a pan of soup, sauce or vegetables in the fridge without first having to pour the contents into a separate storage container. This keeps food fresh and prevents smells from spreading through the fridge.
Why this set with 6 sizes?
This set from Metaltex contains six different sizes with diameters of 105, 110, 130, 145, 150 and 190 mm. Because the sizes are close together, there is a suitable cover available for almost every common pan or pot in your kitchen. So you don't have to look for a separate cover for each pan; with one purchase you have a complete basic set at home.
Honest about the material and finish
The covers are made of plastic and have a checked pattern in red and blue. It is good to know that you cannot choose a specific colour: the distribution between red and blue is determined by the manufacturer. The checked pattern has no functional purpose, but it makes it easy to quickly tell the different sizes apart.
Practical tip for use and storage
Always check the diameter of your pan before use. Measure the inside of the rim for the most accurate fit. Preferably store the covers stacked in order of size, so you can quickly pick out the right size. The smallest size of 105 mm also fits well on many mugs or bowls.
