This oil painting pad gives you an authentic canvas look straight away, thanks to the linen texture and sturdy 300 g/m² paper. Conveniently designed for on the go or at your desk at home, without the hassle of loose canvases.
When do you choose this product?
What is oil paper and when do you use it?
Oil paper is special paper that has been treated to absorb oil paint without it seeping through to other layers. You use this paper when you want to paint with oil paints but don't want to invest straight away in expensive canvas or panels. It is ideal for studies, sketches and exercises with oil techniques.
Why choose this A4 size?
The A4 size is practical for smaller paintings and studies. You can easily place it on a standard painter's easel or work on a table. With 15 sheets, you have enough paper for a series of exercises or various colour studies without having to buy a large block straight away.
Advantages of the linen texture
This paper has a linen texture that resembles real painter's linen. This texture gives your brush grip and creates a natural painting feel comparable to traditional canvas. The natural white surface provides a neutral base that reproduces the colours of your oil paint faithfully.
Practical properties for optimal use
The paper is single-sided sized, meaning only one side is suitable for painting. This treatment prevents the oil paint from soaking into the paper and provides a stable painting surface. With a weight of 300 grams per square metre, it is sturdy enough to carry oil paint without tearing or warping while you work.
