When do you need jumbo pencils?
These jumbo pencils have been specially developed as writing-practice pencils for children who are learning to write and draw. The extra-thick shape sits comfortably in small children's hands and helps them develop the correct pencil grip.

Why this particular triangular shape?
The triangular shape prevents the pencil from rolling away and ensures a natural, relaxed pencil grip. This is especially helpful for young children learning to write, as their fingers are automatically guided into the correct position. The 2B grade produces a soft line that writes easily without much pressure.

What makes these pencils particularly sturdy?
These STAEDTLER pencils have an extra break-resistant lead that can withstand the rougher handling typical of children. The black-coloured wood with pastel accents makes them visually appealing.

Practical tip for use
Please note that the colours are supplied in random assortment – you cannot choose a specific colour. With 48 pieces, you have enough stock for an entire class or for long-term home use. Preferably store them upright in a pot, so the tips stay protected and the different colours remain clearly visible.
