What do these sound dampeners do, and when do you need them?
These self-adhesive stickers from 3M are versatile elastic bumpers that absorb vibrations and noise. You use them when you want equipment, furniture or other objects to operate quietly while also protecting them against scratches. Thanks to their transparent finish, they are almost invisible on most surfaces.

Why choose this round 7.9 mm variant specifically?
The round 7.9 mm format offers a good balance between stability and discreet placement. This size is ideal for smaller contact points where you need effective damping without the stickers being noticeable. The round shape ensures even pressure distribution and prevents sharp edges that could lift off.

How effective is the noise and vibration damping?
With a height of 2.2 mm, these elastic bumpers offer sufficient compression to absorb vibrations effectively. They act as a buffer between surfaces and reduce both direct sound transmission and mechanical vibrations. The self-adhesive backing provides durable adhesion without the need for additional fixing materials.

Practical application and important information
You can use these stickers as scratch protection, stop buffers or spacers on a variety of materials. Please note: this product is only available to business customers with professional application knowledge. The pack contains 80 pieces, which is sufficient for multiple devices or a larger installation where you want to apply noise damping systematically.
