Unfolds quickly and effortlessly; thanks to static cling the film stays exactly where you lay it. Perfect for masking off workspaces when painting or spraying, both indoors and outdoors.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This masking film is designed to protect work surfaces and surrounding areas during the application and spraying of paint. You use the film to cover floors, furniture or other surfaces so that paint splashes and overspray do no damage. This makes it suitable for painting jobs where you want to protect large surfaces quickly, both indoors and outdoors.
Why this design?
The film is transparent, so while you work you can see what lies underneath or is attached. This is handy if you want to locate power sockets, window frames or other details without having to remove the covering. The film is also easy to unfold, which speeds up application.
Static cling: what does this mean for you?
Instead of masking tape, this film uses static cling to stay in place on surfaces. This means you can apply the film without leaving adhesive residue behind, which is especially pleasant on smooth surfaces such as windows or lacquered furniture. Please note that static cling provides less grip than masking tape, so for windy outdoor work additional fixing may be needed.
Practical use with the Hand-Masker M3000
This film is designed to be used together with the 3M Hand-Masker M3000, a dispenser that makes unrolling
